  Special interests are gynaecology, family planning, paediatrics, homoeopathy and acupuncture.
   
• Dr Richard Evans BA MBBChir MSc Registered St Thomas’s London 1981.
  Special interests are minor surgery, hormone replacement therapy, cardiology and infectious diseases.
   
• Dr Deborah A Shiel MBBCh MRCGP DRCOG DMH Registered University College Galway 1986.
  Special interests are maternity, gynaecology, paediatrics, diabetes and general practitioner training.
   
• Dr Henry Knights MBBS DRCOG Registered Charing Cross and Westminster London 1988.
  Special interests are antenatal care, asthma and minor surgery.

Teaching
We have been an approved Training Practice since 1990. There is usually a fully qualified doctor gaining experience in the practice for a year at a time. Other support staff include receptionists and secretaries. We are all here to help you. When telephoning for medical attention the receptionist may ask for a few details. They have been trained to make these enquiries so that we may help you in the most appropriate way.

All staff are aware of the need for confidentiality at all times in compliance with Caldicott rules.

Nursing Staff

Our three nurses are Sue Terry, Jane Brock and Chris Stark. We also have a Health Care Assistant Cath Sloan.

Primary Care Team

Community Nurses

Community nurses provide home nursing and work closely with the partners. They can be contacted by telephoning the surgery.

Health Visitors

Our health visitors are based at Goldsworth Park Health Centre, where they hold regular baby clinics and offer general advice. They may be contacted on 01483 728210 ext 309.

Community Midwife

Our midwife undertakes antenatal and postnatal care for our patients, working closely with the doctors. Weekly clinics are held both at our Hillview and Goldsworth Park surgeries.
